WORKSHOPS
>>>
The only date available to hire a Workshop at our regular venue, Greenways Farm, is next Wednesday 7th September, and I’m offering a Watercolour Workshop entitled ‘Morning Dew’.

Some of you may remember a striking painting of Dandelion Clocks a few years ago, which was very much enjoyed.  ‘Morning Dew’ will similarly involve the use of Masking Fluid, Sea Salt and freely painted colour washes, (plus Cling Film perhaps) — suitable for all abilities.

As usual I carry good quality Bockingford 200lb W/col paper, and will supply the size needed.  You will need to bring whichever Watercolour materials and equipment you have — (I usually have duplicates of equipment and materials if needed, please ask beforehand)  — but I will send out a detailed equipment and materials list plus payment slip when I know how many are interested/able to attend as I will need a minimum of six students at a fee of £31 each to cover costs. Please let me know A.S.A.P. if you’d like to attend so that I can RESERVE THE VENUE.

OUTDOOR PAINTING DAYS

>>>  A local Outdoor Painting Day, 10.00 till 4.00 (you bring whichever medium you prefer) will have to be either Tues. 6th or the end of next week i.e. 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th*, and will be short notice, as It depends on the weather.  At the moment I’m thinking of either Uphill Boatyard or Grove Park as having interesting views/subject matter, plus Refreshments, Loos and shelter (you bring a packed lunch if preferred).  Again, I will send out a detailed checklist of items you are likely to need, and the fee is £21 (min. of 6 Students). Please let me know A.S.A.P. how many of these* dates you could attend (so that I can choose the most popular, weather permitting).
